JoLLy KA Tech exists to make everyday technology easier to understand. This Editorial Policy explains how we plan, research, write, review, monetise, correct and update website content.
1. Our audience and mission
Our primary audience includes everyday users who may not be technically experienced. We aim to provide clear steps, realistic expectations, visible warnings and practical buying guidance without unnecessary jargon, fear or fake guarantees.
2. People-first content
We create content to solve a genuine reader problem. Search visibility, advertising and affiliate income may support the website, but they should not be the sole reason an article exists. We avoid publishing thin pages, copied summaries, keyword-stuffed text or large numbers of near-duplicate articles merely to attract search traffic.
3. How topics are selected
Topics may come from common user questions, reader requests, support issues, device changes, product launches, software updates, safety concerns and gaps found in existing guides. Before publication, we consider who the guide is for, what decision it supports, what it cannot guarantee and whether the topic could create avoidable harm.
4. Research standards
Writers should prefer primary and authoritative sources when available, including official product pages, user manuals, support documents, release notes, standards bodies, regulator notices and direct testing. Secondary sources may be used for context, but important claims should be checked rather than copied.
- Record the product model, software version, network, region or date when it affects the result.
- Distinguish confirmed facts from estimates, opinions and personal experience.
- Avoid presenting rumours, marketing claims or AI-generated statements as verified facts.
- Link to useful sources where doing so helps readers verify or complete a task.
- Recheck sensitive details such as compatibility, warranty, safety, price and policy requirements.
5. Hands-on testing and researched guides
We clearly distinguish direct experience from desk research. We will not claim that a device, app, accessory or service was personally tested unless it was actually used by the writer or reviewer.
A researched buying guide may compare official specifications, manuals, certification information, warranty terms, retailer listings and credible independent evidence. When practical, the article should explain the basis of the recommendation and identify important gaps in available information.
6. Product reviews and recommendations
A useful product review should discuss suitability, limitations, compatibility, alternatives, warranty and value—not merely repeat marketing language. Rankings such as “best” must be supported by defined criteria and should identify the intended type of user.
Prices and product availability change frequently. Readers should confirm the current model, seller, total price, return policy and warranty before buying.
7. Safety and responsible instructions
Guides involving device settings, charging, batteries, network modes, account security, software installation, data deletion or repair should include proportionate warnings. We do not encourage bypassing security, ownership checks, payment controls, licensing restrictions, platform enforcement or applicable law.
Where a procedure has a meaningful risk of data loss, reduced connectivity, warranty impact, electrical hazard or device damage, we advise readers to back up data, follow official instructions and seek qualified help when appropriate.
8. Advertising, affiliate links and sponsorships
Commercial content must be identifiable. Affiliate links, free products, paid placements and sponsorships are disclosed according to our Affiliate Disclosure. Advertising or commission does not guarantee a favourable review or control our final conclusion.
Affiliate and sponsored links should use appropriate technical attributes, such as rel="sponsored" and, where appropriate, nofollow. Disclosures should be visible to readers and not hidden only in a footer or policy page.
9. Artificial intelligence tools
AI tools may be used to assist with brainstorming, outlines, language improvement, translation, formatting or identifying questions to research. A human editor remains responsible for the final article.
- Raw AI output should not be published without meaningful human review.
- Factual, technical and safety claims should be checked against reliable evidence.
- AI must not invent testing, ownership, quotations, sources, credentials or personal experience.
- AI-assisted content must still provide original value and meet the same quality standards as other content.
- Sensitive personal information or confidential material should not be entered into AI tools without a lawful and appropriate reason.
10. Authorship and accountability
Articles should identify an author or responsible editorial identity when practical. Author pages should describe relevant experience honestly and should not claim qualifications that the author does not have. The publisher remains responsible for corrections and policy compliance.
11. Images, screenshots and intellectual property
We prefer original screenshots, photographs, diagrams and graphics. Third-party material should be used only with permission, a valid licence, an applicable legal exception, or an official media resource that permits the intended use. Sources and required attribution should be provided.
Logos and trademarks may be shown for identification, commentary or comparison. Their presence does not imply official affiliation.
12. Updating older content
Technology content can become outdated quickly. Important pages may be reviewed when software, policies, prices, product models or risks change. When an update materially changes the advice, the article should show an updated date or an editor’s note. An old publication date should not be disguised as a new article merely to appear fresh.
13. Corrections
When we confirm a meaningful factual error, we aim to correct it promptly. Significant corrections may include an editor’s note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, formatting or clarity edits may be made without a separate notice.

14. Reader comments and community contributions
If comments or community submissions are enabled, we may moderate or remove spam, harassment, dangerous instructions, illegal material, undisclosed promotions, personal data, impersonation or content unrelated to the discussion. Publication of a comment does not mean that JoLLy KA Tech verifies or endorses it.
15. Conflicts of interest
Writers and editors should disclose financial, employment, family or other material relationships that could reasonably influence coverage. A contributor should not secretly review their own product, employer, client or close associate.
16. Complaints and contact
Questions about accuracy, attribution, sponsorship, affiliate disclosure or editorial conduct can be submitted through the Contact page. We review good-faith reports and may request additional information.

This Editorial Policy may be updated as the website grows or relevant standards change. The current version and revision date will remain available on this page.
